This course is ideal for those who are new to working at sea. It consists of seven modules that give you an overview of what to expect from life on a yacht. It covers the
fundamentals of yacht life, including key crew roles, onboard etiquette, safety protocols, and what to expect during daily operations. Whether you're aiming to work on private or
charter yachts, this course lays the foundation for a successful and professional yachting career.

How to get the best out of the course:
- Create your own notes to help make the knowledge your own.
- Engage with the learning activities. These give you more information and put you in scenarios that can occur when working on vessels.
- Make the most of the learning opportunity by reviewing lessons until you are confident that you have a solid understanding of the
content.
- Complete the questions at the end of each lesson.
- Complete the tests at the end of each module.
- Finally, test your knowledge in the theory exam to ensure you have embedded the knowledge. You only have ONE attempt to pass the
examination.
